Now if you have been awake you should know that many high profile titles as of recently have been pushed back until 2010, fortunately for Xbox 360 users, many if not all of their top quality exclusives are all still scheduled for 2009 release.

that'S what happen when you dont advertise and people dont buy your stuff and you say that your games will come out in 2009 but they arent actually coming out untill like 2010(heavy rain) and you Hype games for over 2years and have it release in another 2years (GoW3 , GT5)

The PS3 still dominate this year with both 1st & 3rd party exclusive titles not to mention so many PSN titles coming as well & we already KZ2,inFamous & MLB all AAA titles, on the other hand the 360 is struggling with it's lack of true titles since most of it's titles can also be played on a decent PC hardware...

& last time i checked 2008 WAS the year of the PS3 with two AAA titles MGS4 & LBP & other while the 360 barely had on AAA title that looks exactly the same as first with broken online experience...

Wow, N4G is doomed interms of reliability (come to think of it, was it ever reliable news source? only rumors and fanboy articles..) No interesting articles.. only fanboys whining about their insecurity and bashing PS3 all the time, "PS3 fanboys said this was the year of PS3 when infact a new XBL game, (that isn't even confirmed for release and the only footage shown is a techdemo,) proves them wrong.. this is the year of 360!"

I'd say this year both have had interesting exclusives and even though PS3 has two or three more exclusives, interms of quality.. it's a TIE.

I just watched the trailer for that "miner wars" and I've never been more underwhelmed in my life.
For half of it, literally nothing happens. Nothing. Just lots of slow moving camera action. Then for the other half, we just have about 5 ships flying around shooting each other with machine guns. I don't get it! What's the appeal to that game meant to be? The name makes it sound like something from Red Faction, but all we seemed to get was a poor-man's Descent Deathmatch.

Even as an XBLA game, the trailer made it look incredibly boring. And you know it's going to end up costing 1200 points, when I'd personally be hard pushed to pay 400 points considering the level of enjoyment that the trailer presented me.
I dunno, maybe when we find more out about the game, it'll be better, but frankly that trailer was terrible and didn't get me excited at all.

EDIT: Yes some of them are DLC and some of them are PC/360.But anyone will be a foul to disregard the impact that DLC is having on boxed retail games "So why the decline? NPD reckons that the rise of digital downloads and free-to-play online games is now taking sizable chunks out of the traditional retail model."

I'm glad that it's actually exclusives and not 'console exclusives' because to me the term exclusive is a very specific thing. I also like to know what games I can't play anywhere else prompting me to buy all the hardware.

Something like inFamous sold because of the Uncharted 2 Beta I guess?

But you're pretty much wrong. Crackdown is more original, was the first game like that, has a more own art direction with the cell shaded graphics.

Crackdown 2 will have a 4 player co-op option, inFamous doesn't even has a 2 player co-op, something that Crackdown 1 already had years ago.

POS3 fails in making games fun with co-op. See KZ2, perfect for co-op, but its not in it. Whats going on with Sony exclusives?

Halo: ODST, Halo 3 has 4 player co-op, again it makes it fun if you like Halo.

SC: Conviction, well it got a sh!tload of prices @ E3 so it must be a good game I guess. Its just because it isn't on the Delaystation 3 that you're mad.

Forza 3... AH well lets look at the history:

Forza 1: 9.2 out of 10
GT4: 8.9 out of 10

They released in the same year, on the last gen consoles. Forza's first try kicked GT's fourth try. Forza the better racing game in that timeframe. After that:

GT5p: 8.0 out of 10

GT5 the final version: delay after delay, it'll be a launch game for the PS4 in 2012!

I'm sorry but Kushan is right. This game appears to be mediocre at best. Hope I'm wrong since none of us have played it but gameplay-wise, especially in the other videos I've seen, MW looks lethargic and plods along collecting mineral ore at a snail's pace. Battles look generic, almost like a bad clone of Colony Wars that jumped the shark.

Just because it's an exclusive doesn't magically ensure it'll be a great product. (Only here at N4G - where it's more ammunition for the fanboys' salvos in the GFW.) As a multi-console owner, but one that prefers the PS3, I have no problem saying the more recent Rag Doll Kung-Fu and the Punisher games were disappointing PSN exclusives. One was a brawler in the vein of Powerstone/Smash Bros. that featured no online, and the other felt like an arcade mod of UT3, if that's even possible.

Point is there is a ton of more worthwhile content coming out for 360 gamers. DLC for existing games like Gears2, GTA4, F3, and others are better bets to spend your money on. There's at least 6 XBLA games that will release in the next 8 months (4 of which will make it by Xmas'09) that look far better: 'Splosion Man, Mvs.C2, TMNT remake, Shadow Complex, Alien Breed, and the Perfect Dark remake.

The game Miner Wars (for those interested in the game and not in some silly discussions) will be lauched for portable platforms such as PSP. 2010 may bring a Miner Wars 2 and Miner Wars 3.
