iPhone OS 3.1 beta 2 disables tethering tweak

It looks like Apple has closed the doors to the famous profile workaround that allows the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S to be tethered to any computer's USB or Bluetooth connection using the AT&T network.

A new release of the iPhone OS software became available the other night to Apple SDK developers called OS 3.1 beta 2. Many details about the upcoming 3.1 software release remain under Non-Disclosure Agreement, however several have reported that the update will put an end to the IPCC profile workaround that enabled tethering without the consent of AT&T.
