News from the fifth annual MCV Industry Excellence Awards in London last night is that Nintendo, unsurprisingly, wiped the floor, winning a bunch of awards as well as the overall 'Grand Prix' award.
The awards, which are hosted by UK industry magazine, MCV, are voted for by a panel of 90 industry judges, so they are a pretty accurate reflection of what the UK's videogame business regards as the finest example of its work.
Nintendo was the clear overall winner last night, scooping an impressive five awards - for best publisher, PR team, marketing, distribution, plus the overall 'Grand Prix' award - "in recognition of its trailblazing 12 months."
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Space opera fans deserve a chance to experience the vastness of Infinite Space, and Sega needs to make up for its mistake.
I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.
