Well I don't know if this story is lame or not. In The Netherlands we may make a backup from an original. Because discs scratch. And I like to keep my originals safe for kids and other possible ways that they get scratches.
But one loosses waranty by opening the 360. And the ultimate goal is a modchip and homebrew software full Media Center capabilities
