There are no plans for an Xbox LIVE Arcade or PSN version of upcoming Wii-exclusive fighting game Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com, producer Ryota Niitsuma said that because the game is optimised for the Wii, Capcom would be better off developing a sequel for XBLA and PSN than spending the time on a port.
For the Wii’s 15th birthday, here’s a list of 15 Wii games that deserve ports or sequels.
Are you one of the understandably many who has sworn off MvCI because of how it's being handled? Or are you still interested in giving it a shot purely on its gameplay?
I was a bit disappointed with the demo. The art direction is one of the reasons I loved the series. It always looked so awesome to see animated sprites that looked right out of a comic book. Even MVC3 had the comic book appeal. Honestly, I am with everyone else, that DBZ fighter looks amazing...
character models for some of them are not great but the gameplay is solid af..the infiniti gem system is great and at least it has some type of story...but i understand the disappointment..no spiderman/xmen is terrible also
Jumped ship is going a bit too far but after that demo I am very cautious to see how the final product is. Will wait for feedback before I Purchase said product.
Third-party video game developer Capcom and animation studio Tatsunoko are preparing a special exhibition.
The event was originally posted by Famitsu, and Shoryuken translated the information. The event will open on April 21 and last until May 7, and it’ll be held at the Aqua City Mall in Tokyo. Both companies are collaborating to celebrate their milestones: Tatsunoko’s 55th anniversary and Street Fighter‘s 30th.
How about you start buying the Wii games you want FOR THE WII!!
Seriously everyone says there's not enough hardcore games to justify getting a Wii but everytime a Wii game gets released they beg for it to be released on their console...
I thought all Capcom games were supposed to be multiplatform now? Or Capcom said they would be anyway...
The problem is that there just insent enough for the hardcore to truely justify the purchase of a Wii. When Nintendo releases a hardcore game they act like they are bestowing some great gift upon us and we should be greatful of their generosity.
Sony and MS both focus on the hardcore far more than Nintendo has for a very long time, and quite frankly I don't know if their are enough Wii owners of the right type to truely enjoy a game like this, the Soccer moms, grandma, and children will have little clue who most of the capcom characters are in this game, let alone the Tatsu side.
I really hope this game sells well because it deserves to. Lets face facts though, This is probably a bit too hardcore for the average Wii owner.
well its exclusive for wii and it should stay that way....
Don't see it happening until late this year, early next year. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is due soon and don't want to take thunder away from that, considering Capcom is trying to sell Marvel on a 3rd title.
