CodecSys CE-10 H.264 Encoder (English Version) for Sony PS3 Available

Last month the Japanese version of the CodecSys CE-10 H.264 Encoder for PS3 was released and now the English version is available too.

The CE-10 software gets installed on a PC, but allows users to access the power of the PS3 via OtherOS as a way of accelerating video encoding.

Can some one with a Intel® Core™ i7 Processor test this.

The software costs $199, so no.

But my i7 920 encodes like lightning, either way.

I use my i7 more for rendering (Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, etc) than encoding. I use my video card for that. My GTX 295 encoded the Matrix to iPhone format in 10 minutes.
