VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "Each of these articles will be centered around a specific theme, whether that's a style of music, a specific console, or just something completely different. Also, at the end of each of these articles, I will pose a video game music related question on something usually related to the theme of the article, which you can answer in the comments below if you so wish. Each article will highlight between five and ten different tracks from various games, in no particular order.
With that in mind, let's start with a theme that's quite timely and relevant right now thanks to the recent release of Red Dead Redemption 2. The American old west has inspired countless different video games and produced some amazing pieces of music over the years, so let's have a listen to just a few such tracks."
DSOGaming writes: "Now here is something really cool that may never see the light of day. KlStudio is currently working on a fan remake of the classic Lucas Arts’ western first-person shooter, Outlaws, in the Chrome Engine 4. This fan remake will be a mod for Call of Juarez Bound in Blood and the team has released its first gameplay footage."
It’s that time of the month again folks. The time where gamers collectively gather all over the internet to criticize what free games they get this month. So, who plundered the other's fanboys for all their self-worth and gratification in life? Who was the victor in July? Let's take a look.
Has anyone played it yet? ... Worth a purchase?
im holding out for read dead redemption. THAT looks beautiful. i can definitely wait that long.
I have it on the PC, and the game is fantastic! WAYYYY better than the last one, and the last one was fun as hell too!
And yes, the game looks good, but it could have looked hella better if not for the crappy console pop-in and low texture resolutions on the landscaping at a distance.
Whatever, the game is fun regardless. And eventually someone will make a high resolution texture pack for it.
How's the multiplayer in this game?
Managed to snag a copy from Sears for $30 and I couldn't be happier with it!
