GOONL!NE: EA's finally officially dated Battlefield 1943 for the PS3 and 360.
Yay another repeat story. We told you about this over 4 days ago! http://blueraycenter.com/fo...
No. This is proper confirmation. Thats just some newsletter.
Its not just 'some newsletter' its an official newsletter from EA in which they clearly let the cat out the bag.
Right.... and it was dead on accurate. It doesn't matter if its press release or not. Fact of the matter of its right, and makes this story a duplicate.
@ caliblue15 You're a douche because you duplicated your post confirming that the story is a duplicate.
@BX81 So lets attack people personally, did I stoop that low? All I stated was it was a repeat story and it should not have been approved. It was also not an exact repeat statement. He argued, I countered back. Its called a debate. Wasn't like I'm crazy mean about it, I was just a pointing out that as contributors we aren't supposed to make the same story multiple times..
This is the first time I have seen the date. Thanks for reposting the story.
any one knows if there is any kind of clan system or friend invite
Loved Bad Company, can't wait for this on my PS3.
me too :D
They should have released it today for the 4th of July.
Price confirmed for the UK and EU as well £10 and 12 Euros respectively http://www.battlefield1943....
duh, that's been up there for about a month now Quote: For $15/1200 MS Points RIGHT ON THE WEBSITE!!!
I don't understand why they initially denied it and played it off as a mistake anyway? Small download at 560MB but a pretty high price point for just 4 maps in the game. Will still be a wait and see for me, I will definitely get this though if there is 'Warhawk' comparisons.
Because at that time they didn't have any assurances from Sony/MS it would come out then so they tried to downplayed/denied it so to not let the community down/hopes up incase it didn't.
its basically FPS Warhawk
@AstroZombie1 - Still seems strange. I mean that seemed pretty damn Official at the time. They could've always gone with we're waiting approval of this date though instead of the "there some issues to smooth out" line. Not to mention there was no real need to announce a date in the first place. @XxBarretxX - I hope it is like an FPS Warhawk, as I said I will wait for people to start playing it and then definitely think about buying it. Don't know how I'm gonna go though considering The Punisher is about to come out, that might take up all my online needs. 4 maps at that price is a little steep too IMO.
Good deal for 15 $ Imo. Getting it the day it comes out. Too bad it comes out next week :l
u sure it's 15$? they didn't really say anything about the american price. If it's more than 15$, then I prob won't buy it.
Yes, it's $15/1200 MS points Check the website, it says right on it!
Battlefield > CoD, All 3 Halos, Killzone 2, Team Fortess 2, and is on par with Counter-Strike, IMO. Hell I fired up BF1942 last knight and it still plays better than the vast majority of FPS games.
Oh, thank you for letting me know about something that I've already known about for almost a week /s
Well, they did say when it was going to be on PSN. That is different than the previous date
@squirrel, its the same date buddy.
I'll get it on my PS3 because I have XBL silver at the moment
AND u can game share.
*laughs at Xbox Arcade owners* You have to pay $80 more bucks just to play this, cause you dont got space. Good thing I dont have one :D Can't wait for this game :D
lol at ps3 owners getting this a day later than 360 owners...
No Backstab, No Buy!
If this game is on Steam it will be huge on PC.
Haha, there's a little community challenge to see who will reach 43 million kills, the Xbox Live userbase or the PSN crowd. I'm willing to bet the 360 fans will reach 43 million kills first.
I think it's 43,000,000 kills in total between the two. Not separate.
oh, ok. In hindsight, my comment sounds fanboyish, but I merely said it because I think Xbox owners love FPS a lot.
i thought this game would launch at a much later time.
