And now I have in my hand a copy of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Wheelie Breakers, a Yu-Gi-Oh kart racing game. The premise of the game is pure wackiness as you are literally playing a card game while racing on a motorcycle, but that's beside the point. The question is: is Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Wheelie Breakers a good game?"
IGN writes: "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Wheelie Breakers is definitely not for everyone, as it has a steep learning curve and takes a while to get into and wrap your head around. It also may not be for people who aren't already at least partially familiar with the popular card battling brand. But if you're a kart racing fan who's ever wondered what the genre could be like with extra layers of depth and strategy placed overtop the familiar race-to-the-finish-while-throwing-things design concept, Wheelie Breakers is a game you should make yourself familiar with quick".

The cel shaded style of the racing is unique on the Wii. It matches fairly closely with the look of the Anime and it looks good on the Wii. The framerate stays rock solid as you take a spin through the futuristic settings. There gets to be a lot happening on screen with summoning duel monsters, traps and spell cards.
