Digital Battle writes: "Now, you may be asking yourself at this very moment why I would compare a purely nonoffensive game like My Sims Party (now available on, not surprisingly, the Wii) to a high school drinking party? Well, I actually just told you why, but let me elaborate. See, a freshman kegger, a high school drinking party, has about as much chance of getting actual alcohol as, say, Dick Cheney has of being elected president. It would require an incredible intersection of events–extremely permissive parents, an understanding elder relative who didn't fear anything less than extremely permissive parents, outright bribery–to actually happen, so the result you're left with is a party that promises to be a lot more than it actually is."
Nintendo Okie writes: "MySims Party is the third game from the Sims spin -- off franchise. It's also the first MySims game to not contain building as the main component of the gameplay as well as the first of two alternate games in the MySims franchise. All of your favorite characters return and new friends are introduced."
MEGamers writes: "Take a popular franchise like the Sims; add two letters and a whole bunch of colourful cartoonish characters and you have yourself a winner. At least that is what EA is hoping for. MySims Party, just like every other MySims title for both the Wii and DS, is a title created with the young gamers on mind. This time around EA is giving us a chance to create an avatar, pick our Sims and play a set of mini games against three of our friends. Party time!"
GamersIntuition writes: "While MySims Party is ok as a little distraction for the kids now and again, the controls could have been better planned and diversified to make the experience more interesting. Online play should have been considered as well. Although the game remains oh-so-adorable, just as previous MySims titles, with plenty of characters smiling and waving that will probably have you smiling back, MySims is still best suited for the exploratory type of gameplay from the original title".
