DPrime Review: Class of Heroes

After a significant delay just a few weeks before the game was originally set to launch due to a "showstopping bug", Class of Heroes finally came out on June 9th. Having played many an Atlus game in the past, all it took was the game's trailer to get me interested in this one.

This game has all the concepts and makings to be AMAZING. Unfortunately it falls just short of that due to some quirks with the gameplay...

Ah...I love RPGs and generally don't listen to much to reviews, but apparently a few people I've talked to have been disappointed with the title thus far. Yet looking at the reasoning for the score I'd say I may very well add this to my list of PSP titles and pick it up sometime, Why? well because of this:

Well, at least you were warned first, right? As I mentioned in the review it has a... curious addicting factor that I can't explain, I shoved a few more hours into it tonight before getting annoyed with it again, I guess I'm stubborn in my hope the game will get better over time.

Yeah you did warn me about it, but something about that where your character actually dies and is gone for ever is appealing to me, the same way Fire Emblem is as well since you lose your character once they die as well. I'm guessing that helps lengthen the game length in some respects as well.

May have to finally try out some Persona.

If you're new to the series I'd start with Persona 2: Innocent Sin as it's a lot more polished and enjoyable than the original.

I'll have to check that out, thanks.
