Nidzumi: Rock Band Unplugged Review: Obsessively Simple

Nidzumi writes: It's really quite interesting when you look back at the origins of a genre. Whether it's a nominal change with beat 'em ups or whether it's a completely new direction with rhythm titles, the changes are always apparent. Before Guitar Hero the idea of a bulky controller was laughable. That's why you've got to give credit to Harmonix and the team for putting plastic guitars into hundreds of homes. Years of this constant pattern of DLC, band packs and instrument revisions have taken their toll on the popularity of the genre and you really feel that now could be the time for a regression in formula. This is where Rock Band Unplugged comes in."

The story is too old to be commented.
