Splinter Cell: Double Agent: Hands-on

In Ubisoft’s latest iteration of Splinter Cell, Sam Fisher has the look of a determined man. The shaved head, bright eyes outlined with heavy lids, chiseled unshaven face, and stoic look deliver a tough, detached appearance that comes with the territory. Not everyone can be happy. That’s what happens when you lose your family and take on a job that may not acknowledge your existence if one small thing is out of place.

In the upcoming Xbox 360 version of Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Ubisoft’s Shanghai Studio is taking the rough-and-tumble stealth marine into unchartered territory by giving you unprecedented choices, branching storylines, and consequences to those actions. But if you know anything about Double Agent, you already know this. IGN recently visited Ubisoft’s San Francisco office to revisit the E3 demo and get a second hands-on preview of the game.
