The Portable Gamer Review: Knights Onrush for iPhone

TPG writes: "There are moments in one's life when one realizes that one is a total freaking nerd. Knights Onrush caused that, when I realized that I not only recognize the difference between 'castle defense' and 'tower defense' but realize that they're quite different despite the synonymical names. Beyond this moment of panic and need to go do something cool with my life (maybe write a fake memoir and get chewed out by Oprah? Relevant topical humor!), I played Knights Onrush. And I played it some more. And then I played it quite some more. I soon started playing it to a point where getting around to reviewing it was a challenge, as I would rather just play Knights Onrush than write about Knights Onrush. I have temporarily conquered this addiction, and I therefore am bringing you my opinion of Knights Onrush."

This game looks really quite amazing. I think that I'll buy it and it takes a lot to get me to pay more than maybe $2 for the iphone apps/games.

roblef5824d ago

I totally agree. It's a higher price point than I'll typically pay, but it DOES look sweeeeet.

wondroushippo5824d ago

Yeah, I'd say this is worth $5. It's from the iDracula guys as well - they're wrecking it on the iPhone so far, aren't they?

CrAppleton5823d ago

Wow.. looks like an awesome game for the iPhone. I'll have to pick this up

Neco5125823d ago

The price is a bit much for the iPhone, but when you consider this is like an XBLA or PSN game, it's not that much money

Definitely a Castle Crashers vibe here. Cool artwork.

CrAppleton5823d ago

Anything with that kind of vibe is good by me

Neco5125823d ago

I loved Castle Crashers! totally agree, anything with that kind of vibe is a keeper

roblef5824d ago

rockin the castle defense game, this review is HILARIOUS.

Spolodaface5824d ago

It sure looks like it's packed with features and content. Sadly not my kind of game though. After failing miserably once I always give up when I play the Flash equivalents.

CrAppleton5823d ago

ROFL.. so.. if you fail.. you don't try again? Come on man

Neco5125823d ago

I'm not one for failing multiple times either, but I give things a good go before I quit

Another junker for the bin. Keep those live service games placed on a conveyor belt leading down an incinerator.

Has it really only been a year I think my region got early access cause I swear I had it long before that but that I played more than 1 game just to try it can't stand mobile games but cod mobile was about the most I could tolerate with a gamepad.

Oh well so long cod mobile hello cod on switch 2

CoD Mobile isn’t going anywhere - just Warzone.

~25% of annual hours worked for a full-time employee, not including overtime. Doesn't seem unreasonable and kind of expected, IMHO.
