And before the Red Ring Defense Force comes in and tries to put a spin on things and disagree with anyone with a PS3, E3 is and has always been about the games. This year, Sony presented and delivered with games and in innovation. With the best line-up of 2009 and 2010, nobody can argue that Sony did not deserve this. Gametrailers is definitely spot-on with awarding Sony for being loyal to gamers of all kinds and giving us what every gamer wants--games.

Who are we to say who won? This is all opinion and nothing more. If you prefer Sony or MS that's up to you but don't expect people to agree when they just don't. I for one don't think Sony came close to winning but that's just my opinion. As a gamer im happy for everyone.

They weren't blinded by the flash. Sony's conference was impacted by the leaks but at the end of the conference they showed the most exclusive content. PC ports do not count as exclusives. They bought the games and didn't even get a chance to show everything.

MS put on a better show but the content of Sony's show was much more impressive.

MS gets a B- for showing CGI and practically nothing coming later this year that's exclusive other than L4D2 and Splinter Cell.

Sony gets an A-. Great games and all gameplay trailers but Jack Tretton is so nervous doing the show I wish they'd outsource it to someone. Maybe Jeff Rubenstein. Also, I'm not a fan of either company going motion controller i.e. gimmick ala Nintendo. Count me out for either Natale or Sony's motion controller.

Yes they were biased, then a magical thing happened. The PSN video store started posting GTTV episodes and Bonus round episodes. I have watched all the sudden a change and I wonder why? Listen to the last IW podcast and I think you will hear exactly what I was thinking last week. After MS did their confrence on Monday I said there is no way Sony can top that. Then Sony just blew them away. If ICO had not been leaked there would not be any doubts about that. Sony's games are Game of the Year type of annoucements. MS not so much. I am sure Modern warfare 2 will win a few GOTY awards but I think Uncharted 2 will garner more. Then it will be out of GoW3, GT5 and Heavy Rain, Gears 3 won't be different enough, and 2011 will be either Last Gardian or Agent.

Uncharted 2 WILL end up being GOTY 09 Just like LBP GOTY 08 or MW GOTY 07 The trend will continue for the games that get GotY honors will be on PS3.

yeah they spend 30 minutes with the eye toy ripp off and hardly any time for software.

SONY spent like 10 minutes MAX with the Motion controll and pretty much almost 2 hours of EXCLUSIVE SOFTWARE,not CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE (eccept FF14) .. unlike the 3FIXME's line-up witch mostly consist of non-console exzclusives that you can grab on your PC as well.

Yeah, you know after microsofts i was amazed.. really amazed.. then i watched sony's and then went back to microsofts and realised it was the presentation that amazed me, they had some great content too but i think sony's relentless string of exclusive games just took it over the top for me, and MOST IMPORTANT of all - sony did more live demo's which was great.

Sony was a powerhouse this year with all the exclusives, however they didn't get me excited for MAG. Microsoft finally showed their exclusives that we already knew about and MGS coming to the 360 isn't that much of a shocker. Remember, MGS 2 went to the xbox, so Kojima and Konami aren't exactly breaking new ground. If Kojima announced an exclusive 360 MGS title, then that probably would've put the two companies neck and neck. I guess you could also say we knew about the R* title, but we only knew that one was being developed. Anyway, this was probably the best E3 I've seen so far.

new Uncharted 2 footage, Modnation racers (2010 LBP), FF14 announcement, GoW3 gameplay footage, TLG (trico) footage, Rockstar new ip Agent, Sony TRUE 1:1 motion control, GT5 footage with NASCAR & WRC, not to mention Kojima saying the true MGS sequel is on PSP, and GTportable with over 800 cars, and thats the short list.

on the other side on the coin.........in case you say we knew of some of those things

MS best of the show IMHO is Splinter cell, Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2 and NATAL which of these we didnt know about? we found out NATAL codename and functionality but we knew the camera was coming okay, new footage of AW and SC:C . whats new? Halo ODST(lol)? Shadow Complex? Joy Ride? MGR (multiplat)?

i guess i was seeing things then when Sony showed God Of War 3, Uncharted 2, Assasins Creed 2 (with exclusive content for the PS3 version), ModNation Racers and MAG.. and also released excellent trailers for GT5, GTPSP, FF14 and MGS: Peace Walker..

THAT'S how Sony won.. and Microsoft's presser was just as much full of promises, and Sony's had more content and substance.. sorry!

Last year yeah they showed some CG trailers of MAG and God of War but they still had Killzone 2 which hit this year, but this year they Showed alot more games that looked like they could be out now. Uncharted 2, God of War 3, MAG, Mod Nation Racers, FFXIII, GTPSP, ALL GAMEPLAY and some of these will hit this year. Listen to the crowd during the conferences and you can hear how blown away they where at all these games during the gameplay and thats not even including announcements of FF14, MGSPSP, Trico and Agent (exclusive Rockstar game)

I had a 360 and is a great system(it dies of RROD, no joking), now i have a ps3 so i have enjoyed most of the best games in each plat.. my point is i am not a fanboy. i saw the 3 conferences and Sony conference hands down was the best, Microsoft came close i know, but sony showed more than microsoft, more substance than microsoft and that the true, dont get angry 4 that, just go to gamespot and watch all the 3 conferences and ull understand what i am talking about

Sony's was awesome to watch and genuinely entertaining without being overly hyped. Wasn't that impressed with MAG though, Uncharted 2 and GOWIII easily stole E3, the motion tech seemed great fun and a lot more hands on and proven than Natal, I wonder why they left out showing or talking about Jak and Daxter PSP.

Poor N4G. the Sony fanboy user base cant handle Sony getting beaten yet again so of course they will try anything to discredit MS and Nintendo.

How did Sony win? By showing games we already knew about? By showing a weak attempt at the Wii market.. Not really what I call a winner.

MS natal killed Sony motion controls and I didnt see a single game from Sony I wasnt expecting. The games that i didnt see coming came from Nintendo.

I really cant say any one company won but if one didnt win it was Sony. Of course it really doesnt matter. N4G has tried to give Sony credit for everything. 06, 07,08,09 all we heard around here from the Sony fans is how those were the years of the PS3 and its dominance. Yet every single year was the year of the Wii. This year will be no different. All those games shown will do nothing just like MGS4, LBP ,haze and so many others did nothing last year.
