IncGamers' Tim McDonald takes a first look at Mass Effect 2. WARNING: This preview has spoilers.
An interesting route taken by Bioware, but I suppose no one should really be surprised. These guys KNOW how to make games engaging and fun and they know how to make stories work. I love Bioware.
Watched the EA conference just to see more BioWare greatness. Was not disappointed! Can't wait for Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Star Wars: The Old Republic!
I thought they would be too busy with Star Wars to be doing this!
Lrean teh multitask. :)
With BioWare now under EA, they really won't have any issues finding people to work on their games as well as funding for them. Lucas Arts is also putting a ton of trust in BioWare due to the success of the KOTOR game and their general ability to deliver high quality RPG experiences, along with this probably came all the guys they let go last year prior to the Star Wars Unleashed.
BioWare is a real force to be reckoned with now.
I loved Mass Effect. Really, really looking forward to this.
Alien boobies :D *Deeply wishes to be kidnapped by female aliens to be sexually abused for hours on a secret moonbase*.
Anyway i am happy with the decisions i made in Mass Effect and as long as Ashley is by my side, i will be ready to tackle what ever mission that is thrown my way. On another note,is releasing this game in January a good move?I would suggest the bring it forward to December of delay it till at least February.
Just so you know. I share the same dream also. I don't mind the sloppy seconds!. LOL.
Looks and sounds pretty good. I liked the first one alot, I'm probably gonna get this.
Call me crazy but the lighting and detail is this game just look delicously attractive. Definitely one of the best looking games this gen. Now I love Bioware, but at the same time hate them for never doing another balders gate sequel. :(
I luved the first game but I thought the combat suck the more the game progressed! There was no location based damage and standard human enemys could take a ridiculous amount od damage before they went down giving you a sense of powerlessness considering ur constantly upgrading up weapons and ammo.
but don't forget about my Jade Empire 2.
The only thing I hope they improve though in ME 2 is putting more variety in the side quests and if I'm going to be traveling from wreck to wreck in the Mako, I hope they have more value. I mean after a long drive to a wreckage and finding nothing in there was a nice waste of time lol. Anyway, if at least some side quests were kind of like KOTOR, (ex: races) then this game is full of win. Nonetheless, this ME 2 should be great.
Luckily the mako was destroyed in the assault on the citadel. Theey said there's a more improved vehicle.
