Impulse Gamer: Banjo-Tooie (XBLA) Review

Edwin M: "It's all in fun and the tongue in cheek humor flies, the designers never take things too seriously and there are times in the game where the characters actually refer to this adventure as "The Game" and there is talk about what they learned "Last Game". I love it, its goofy fun that made me laugh out loud."

Tocuh controls are usually iffy at best. I haven't tried them in while. I might give them a whirl.

Normal like everything else xbox touches.. Killer instinct is forgotten, I don't know why cause I think x1 really had cool games at launch

Love the Banjo series. Great article.

Sciurus_vulgaris1401d ago (Edited 1401d ago )

Banjo-Tooie was as big and expansive as it was due to internal competition at Rare. The Banjo-Tooie and Donkey Kong 64 teams wanted to see who could make the bigger, more content rich game.

NotoriousWhiz1400d ago

Donkey Kong 64 was definitely a top tier N64 game. I think I played Banjo Tooie once and never again. But I also wasn't able to finish Banjo Kazooie until after it was re released on Xbox 360.

Sciurus_vulgaris1400d ago (Edited 1400d ago )

Oddly enough I played the kazooie, Tooie and DK 64 when visiting other people. I never played through and beat Banjo-kazooie and Banjo-Tooie until the release of Rare Replay! I prefer Kazooie over Tooie. I found Tooie to be occasionally frustrating.
