Nintendo Bringing The Heat With 11 Wii Exclusives

Gaming Union writes "Although Nintendo's conference didn't necessarily get received so well, they still showcased a lot of exclusive content that will be appearing on their platform, the Wii, in the near future.

While pointing towards their first party titles, they also showed the support they've been getting from third party studios, for example, Square Enix, Capcom and High Voltage."

They also shown three new games. Line Attack Heroes by Grezzo games and Monado(a new RPG from Monolith!).

But Nintendo doesn't have any hardcore games...

mephman5432d ago

I'd say that Metroid: Other M was pretty hardcore. Other than that though, I can't disagree.

SpoonyRedMage5431d ago (Edited 5431d ago )

I'm being sarcastic...

@V: Yer, the character models could do with a touch up but it looks great.

Anyway my point was that the Wii has plenty of hardcore games but they get ignored... even when they have a lineup rivalling the PS3 and 360.

Monado(a new RPG from Monolith!)

Just watch the video for that! Very nice indeed :)

Of course, no mention of Muramasa or Little King's Story. Sigh.

qface645432d ago

another 2 that are on my list
heck there's actually allot of other good games not on this list

rucky5432d ago

Isn't everything announce for the Wii exclusive?

SKUD5432d ago (Edited 5432d ago )

It would seem so. The term to me means= your not missing out on anything or else it would be on PS3/X360 IMO.

My top 3 are Mario 3, Mario World and Mario 64. Mario Odyssey is also excellent, and I enjoyed Sunshine but didn't care for the Galaxy series.

Am I missing something? It looks exactly the same, just higher resolution… Is this sarcasm?

specialguest297d ago

Yes, you're not observant if you think it looks exactly the same. It immediately appeared different to me from the start. Mario's 3D model will always be the same, so not much difference there. However, the animation they've given the Super Mario Wonder makes it look more like a CGI Mario animation where as the New Mario Bros game looks more like typical video game animation movements

__SteakDeck__297d ago

@specialguest Yeah those animations are insane.

FinalFantasyFanatic297d ago

You really didn't notice the difference? It's really obvious, I was surprised when I first saw the trailer.

Asplundh297d ago

"Am I missing something?"

Your glasses maybe?

Juancho51297d ago

This Mario game looks great, getting a switch for this and Mario RPG. CANT WAIT, TITS JACKED.

Profchaos297d ago

Yeah I liked how much more emotion could be conveyed through the new style at first glance I didn't see much difference but then rewatching the trailer I'm seeing more and more animations that remind me of the Mario artwork from the manual of smb3

Outlawzz297d ago

I hated the new super Mario bros Style. This new one seems a lot more expressive and less generic. I hope it's a good game

shinoff2183297d ago

I prefer the 2d Mario's. Me and my girl have played them all together and mario galaxy , Mario odyssey. The 2nd player option is extremely eh

Dead Space Extraction better than the original Dead Space?

Okaaaaay...

lucian229626d ago

I played all three. Didn't find them fun, just had nothing to play. I don't think I beat third game though. Combat was super clunky, graphics and art design were ugly imo, story in first game wasn't too bad, rest were meh.

Over hyped series imo, also it doesn't help horror games don't scare me, so I guess that's a big reason for me too.

MIDGETonSTILTS17626d ago

Play Alien Isolation on Hard or Nightmare.

Start on the movie DLC so that you don’t have to play a bunch of campaign in order to find out if you’ll be scared.

lucian229626d ago

I heard that was a good one. Honestly vr games scare me with jump scares because of how the threat feels real.

MIDGETonSTILTS17626d ago

There isn’t an official VR mode, unfortunately.

The audio should pull you right in if you use headphones.

CDbiggen626d ago

Just finished playing the first, enjoyed the fact Isaac was a silent alien crushing psycho doom-guy type. Just started the second yesterday and I'm annoyed he's a talker now and sounds like a regular guy who hasn't been through hell, but I suppose he couldn't remain silent.

VersusDMC626d ago

Dead Space 2 is my favorite followed by 1 then 3. All are good to me though. Just beat all 3 on series X and they hold up.

Xenial626d ago

As simple as 1,2,3.

Extraction, then Ignition.
