One man's living is another man's dying. Did you guess this is a Playstation 3 Ad?
Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.
From base building to swinging willies, here are the best survival games around, which include a couple of less than obvious picks.
It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.
What is it with the marketing departments of console manufacturers nowadays. I remember when I was a kid watching companies like Sega advertising games for their consoles with actual FOOTAGE! You could see how cool the game looked and wanted to go out and buy it.
Nowadays we seem to have entered some kind of weird abstract world where advertising companies are trying to be as clever as possible. Can't they at least show us, erm, you know ... some games ... being played ... by people? So we can empathise and think, "Ah yes that's what I could be doing."
That goes for BOTH the 360 and the PS3. I love and own them both. But try asking your non-gaming friends and family members what "Jump In" and "This is Living" means and see what they say.
Can't companies just give people what they want namely how a game plays and how it looks? At least Nintendo have mostly gone about the right way recently with the Wii and DS adverts I just wish Sony and Microsoft would follow suit so that more people can see how cool their games are!
I love it...this isn't the only marketting campaign by Sony I might ad. There's another exclusive European one talking about the capabilities and showing the games...but I can't help but think they are missing an ad like this. http://www.gametrailers.com...
I was actually thinking that each actor represented the "avatars" of gaming we might choose to play with...
The writer/director should make a movie. I would love feature film this way.
"what is living" Not worrying about your console breaking.
You're on fire bro!
ahh hot,hot,hot!!!
