Eidos continues to empty game coffers onto Valve's service

Continuing plans for extensive coverage of all their major franchises on Steam, this week Eidos put a number of new titles up for download including Tomb Raider: Legend and Rogue Trooper. Also available for the first time are entries from some of Eidos's favorite games series among hardcore gamers: Deus Ex (along with its sequel) and Thief: Deadly Shadows. The original Deus Ex is available for $9.95 (and at a current sale price of $8.95) and Thief: Deadly Shadows are $19.95 (current sale price of $17.95).

The story is too old to be commented.

Valve's Steam service is an excellent example of what e-distributed gaming has to offer. Games are easily downloaded and updated, even if you reboot your PC, all your games are linked to your account an easily re-downloaded. It's also a great place to find great older games at very low prices.
