Left 4 Dead 2 Announced for Xbox 360, PC

At the Microsoft press conference today, Left 4 Dead 2 was announced as an Xbox/PC exclusive, which will be released on November 17th 2009. There wasn’t much mentioned, as there was only a trailer shown. However there will be four new survivors, along with a new location set in New Orleans. There are also melee weapons being shown in the trailer, so those are likely going to change the game dynamics as well. There will also be a new enemy type, however it cannot be seen in the video.

One large change is that the trailer takes place entirely during the day, meaning the rest of the game most likely will as well.
