I kinda feel bad for Sony as this was blatenly their big announcement at E3, and now they are going into E3 with a product that everyone has seen and not alot of people like.
I think it looks really cool...I dont know why all the hate is coming....
I also have a gut feeling It wont be long before MS come along with their own gaming Handheld and satisfy all these complaints, by including a second analogue stick, achievments and full Live support.
It is real as it was shown in the latest episode of Qore where they discussed E3 in the past tense. Shipping fall and LittleBigPlanet portable all sounds good.
I hope the screen is GLASS like the iPhone and iPod touch so it doesn't scratch. I love how I don't have to worry about my iPod touch scratching when I put it into my pocket and since the PSP Go looks so pocket-friendly, it seems like a logical addition. Looks like a neat redesign but I'm disappointed that it still only has one analog stick though >:(
Fall of this year... damn suddenly that seems really far :/
That POS is ugly than the DSi! The graphics appear to be that of the Sega GameGear ROFL! Sony should stop making systems and turn into a developer like Sega since they clearly don't know how to make attractive devices.
I haven't seen any video footage of it yet. Does the screen flip up at the push of a button?
With a disagree assigned to my question, I'll just assume a Microsoft a$$-slave just came in here and wanted to act like a douche bag!!!
Edit @ ravinshield:
Oh sure D*ck head, whatever you say. Games are just coming in left and right for both the PSP and PS3 and E3 is only going to push that notion to new heights...and make little mommas boys like you look even more delusionally retarded than you are now.
I'm happy for Sony... but I hope this thing sells...
I was hoping for a touch feature for the XMB, along with the controls would make it the GOD of portable systems...
..still, if this and the PSP-3000 lower in price, I might have to buy one by the time all the good games come out: KH Birth By Sleep, Motorstorm, LBP, Gran Turismo...!
release a UMD - PSP converter, I might as well just get the new games on UMD too and just convert them onto my PSPGo wenever I feel like it, saving space and knowing the games are there in material form :)
So that means you could basically get all the games from your friends, put them on the flash memory and give them back to your friends. I don't think sony would do that. I smell DRM.
So is there touch-screen or not? If not, what a terrible mistake, and a big waste of time and money. If yes, it can be a perfect opportunity to take their late on DS back.
No info on PSPGo as of yet so we don't know is there touch screen or not but it's a longshot. It needs it tho, to work in closed position as media player and internet browser.
That video ended before the presentation is over. I still have about 0.004224% of hope for touchscreen. Even pressure sensitive one if they can't budget in capacitive one.
It should have a touchscreen, NOT for games but the xmb interface. Music, Video, PS3 interaction. I dont see any buttons for volume control. Being labeled as GO probably means you dont need to slide up the screen to access your media content.
Is that me ? or the logo on the top right front near the blue light is the bluetooth logo (blue light, bluetooth logo, it seems to match perfectly)? Could we image to have all the bluetooth accesories from the PS3 compatible with this PSP (headset, keyboard and DualShock 3 in order to solve the second analog stick issue).
I see Blutooth... Wondering if it will expand on the inter connectivity the current PSP has with the PS3... I can see it being used as a controller, but i would much rather use a DS3. would have been cool if they could fit a camera in the "o" from Sony's logo.
I wouldn't mind picking it up, but i have a number of games on UMD, so replacing my library with downloads is not the best solution.
Ive ben begging for this feature in the older psp's to have but never did... imagine playing online using your bluetooth headset insted of the tangle wired one.
dang i love this so far.. cant wait to hear more @ E3 mbaby wOOhOO!!!
looks pretty slick but I'm an old timer who likes his physical media.
The thumbstick looks like it can work after playing some Hammering Hero today I realized my thumb does get little cramped. I'm sketchy about the internal battery though.
For all the cring over "GO" As I've said in a few post back last week... This is not the "NEXT" PSP. It is just a re-boot of the current one. Like all those lame remakes you're probably going to see in the theaters... Only this one is worth a look.
We've actually seen the next PSP2"touch" and it's very impressive. And no, "SEV", the name isn't going to be "touch" but it does have touch sensitivity and if you were a "REAL" insider you'd know that. But for right now, as the PSP2 isn't named just yet, we'll call it "touch"
Yes, the next PSP -which will launch, I'm guessing around late 2010 to early 2011... Will absolutley have a graphics update. We were able to see a few of the things it can do and it's absolutley insaine for a portable.
The buttons are not raised. They are all touch. Even the shoulder buttons. The screen is super thin, as is the system. It's about the size of a Razor phone opened.
I really do love it. It looks great, abd bluetooth sounds great.
But it seems this isnt the psp2?
Which makes me wonder, if the psp 3000 isnt being stopped then this is obviously going to be more expensive.
Lets say this retails for £200, will it really be worth it if its essentially the same, and theres a psp 2, which will probably be a further evolution from this, and probably with touch screen like the iphone which will be better than the DS?
I dont know yet. All I can say though is that my hype for sonys press confrence just shot up, and it was alreay stupidly high...
LOL, every ps3/psp news on N4G are always the same , a troll comes up in the first 1-5 comments and then all people bash him, (it? o_O), this is always good for a laugh ;)
on topic:
this design of the psp (for me) is AWSOME! cant wait to buy this!! dont care if i cant download games from psn store (lol) this psp is awsome
EDIT: lets take out some bubbs from the trolls! WOW!
Oh this are very nice I must admit, cute little system.
Although I find this one very weird.
;)
IMHO, the artist concepts we saw a couple of months ago were better. I don't feel bad about buying a PSP-3000 at all.
I was hoping it would at least have a nice big screen, but it looks like the same size as the other PSPs.
Dam, i might preorder it if this is for real...the screen looks sweet, big and nice...now just the price...
I really dont see this turning the psp around, I expected more than some lame sidekick design
where is the dual stick?
