IGN: Pre-E3 2009: A Boy and His Blob Hands-On

WayForward has used some kind of proprietary "technology" (voodoo wizardry) it has on its premises so that its considerably gifted artists can draw frames of animation and then, after sacrificing a goat to the gods, everything is spit out into a perfectly fluid, coherent sequence that's ready for the gaming world. This process allows the studio to more intuitively translate its drawings to the interactive realm and, as you can see in screenshots and videos of the game in motion, also facilitates some pretty amazing looking digital 2D artistry. The first thing I noticed about A Boy and His Blob on Wii is its remarkable style and beauty.
