Definitely up there with my favorite magazines ever. It was such a damn shame when it was killed off a few months back... the longest-running videogame magazine publication... dead... :(

But this is awesome news. Hopefully they don't change the layout of the magazine too much, and keep it as neutral as possible :D

This is a happy day and sad day at the same time. I have been reading EGM since the very start, and it was fine when I was buying it when I was 10. Now that i'm 29 going on 30. I still love buying and reading it, but I must confess i feel like such a dork buying it at the store wile shopping with my wife. Its funny because right before they went out of biz. my wife was like why don't you just get another subscription? I think at our age with no kids it kind of made her feel dorky too. @ 29 6'4 and 240lbs buying Egm just looks off to some people.

Projekt7tuning you must be going to the wrong places to buy your mags. Any respectable book store would not make you feel bad for buy EGM, anime books, art books or any thing else. EGM was no different than her woman mags that had gossip in them EGM was full of games that rocked and if it did not rock them may it was not in that mag.
