Well, it's official. The Xbox Live Vision camera has a release date. Group marketing manager of Xbox Live, Aaron Greenberg said in Major Nelson's podcast that the camera is set for September 19th (North America and Europe).
The camera connects via usb 2.0. It will work for both Xbox 360 and PC's. It is said to be able to use for messaging and gaming. Perhaps this will open a new window for xbox live. Talking to one another and actually seeing the person are two very different things. Let's just hope the camera isn't used in ways it shouldn't be used [shudders]
