E4G Writes"After the chimera virus has spreads around the world and only one survived and this is his story."
Single player is good, coop is good but imo multiplayer is absolute shiet especially in comparison to killzone
only game that gets some attention is cod4.. it's sad that some people are missing out on this game just because of their hate on the opposite console.. It's a VERY well done multiplayer..
You cannot compare an arcade shooter to a combat shooter. Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 are both great FPS that appeal to different audiences.
Im sorry but Resistance 2 story was so boring and just dragged on. Compared to Resistance FOM it was just awful. The multiplayer is quite good but doesnt compare to Resistance FOM. I thought isomniac had a guarenteed success with Resistance 2 after the first game but it was just a huge dissapointment, largely due to the fact they completeley changed it. I hope they go back and try and make Resistance 3 more like FOM.
agreed, R1 was the better game overall imo
sonarus is right,I love Sony but he is right and he is not a troll,R2 multiplayer is garbage,I give the SP+COOP a 9.2
you mean multiplayer and single player is sh!t compared to resistance 1...they screwed up resistance 2 big time....loved the first hated the 2nd ,but o well this game is old and long gone anyways.
I rlly bought resistance 2 after i had rented, didn't rlly like much of the sg rlly but the multiplayer...... PRO
was fun for me. if i ever get it back from my cousin i'll prolly play it some more.
If you have never played Resistance 1 or 2 you should, resistance 2 is so much fun. 8 player co-op and 60 player versus. and over 10 hour long single player. Resistance is some of the best first person shooter ever. but of course i also love Killzone 2 but resistance help me wait till it came out.i really hope Resistance 3 comes as Killzone 3. these games are a must have.
Resistance 2 had a really nice singleplayer campain. The multiplayer I can't say anything about 'cause I only tried it for 5 minutes. What really blowed me away about the game was the co-op. I've never seen anything like it in a shooter. 8 players, 3 kits, and you're heavily dependant on eachother. 6 unique levels and a tough ranking system makes it last quite a while too.
excellent online, lacking single player IMO single player was a big dissapointment considering the single player in RFOM was excellent (especially in co-op)... but it made up for it with the massive competitive and co-op modes... i give it a 9.2
nothing touches the multiplayer of R2, if you say otherwise you obviously know nothing.
little late on this review? maybe?
That's exactly what I was thinking. Why is this website reviewing a game that is nearly seven months old?
The same thing happen to my cod4 review. I am putting this out to see how well I can make reviews. Yes the game is seven months old but do I care? No, not really...
Cool. Let us know when the Halo 2 review is up.
But i am thinking of reviewing Killzone 2. IMO its a really good game.
Resistance 2 is one of the best shooters to date. It's fast paced, great voice work, great story, great weaponry, great enemies and boss battles, more enemies on screen than most games without a hiccup, the list goes on and on. I was like most initially in thinking that R1 was a better game, then i played R2 through twice, yea, I was wrong.
Online is BRILLIANT,and alternating between this and Killzone 2 is working for whatever I feel like at the time. Tactical squad based objective shootouts - Killzone 2. Frantic and fun 30 vs 30 team deathmatch - Resistance 2 Win/Win for whoever owns both.
the story was ok... but am i one of the only one who think they had an awesome ending at the end which shapes up the next title to be comepletly badass if done right..
