If games don't find a way beyond DRM, I have a feeling that the games industry could buckle terribly. It's too young, the music industry seems to be held together by spit and bubble gum too.

Shh, don't state obvious logic; it'll backfire on you in the form of a massive amount of disagrees and angry fanboys. :)

I think it's time to change their business model.

Pretty interesting, always nice to hear from the developers themselves, and Ouch on that piracy level.

This is the first time I've even heard of this game, and now because the developers are pouty patties- for good reason, I feel pretty obligated to buy it, since apparently the reviews are good and I like little innovative games. I wish them luck!

I wanted to buy it just to help them out. I don't know how the indie game market will be able to survive with this kind of trend.

@thebudgetgamer: What happened to XBLA or WiiWare or Steam?

But I do agree. One of the best ways to go is with service dependent features like achievements and multiplayer like L4D. I mean you could crack the core game, but you still wouldn't get the whole experience.

My only concern is that devs don't abuse that by like making a game REQUIRE online connectivity just to start.

Top 20 WiiWare Games (10-1)

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "The official end of the WiiWare service may not be until early 2019 but we wanted to give everybody as much of a chance as possible to remember all of the great games that Nintendo’s first every download service brought us. Last week we counted down the first 10 games in our look at the Top 20 WiiWare games ever made, and if you haven’t had the chance yet you can check out those picks right here but now we switch our focus over to the very best that WiiWare has to offer so if you still have a Wii (or a Wii U) kicking around make sure to download these games before they are lost forever."

Steam A to Z: Week 3

Bit Cultures writes: Steam A to Z: week three – notable for the fact that it’s the first edition without a wretched simulator game! While good for my sanity, it’s probably bad for the entertainment value of this piece. Let’s go!
