Playing the Odds: Marvel vs. Capcom 3
While a true successor to the crossover fighting classic is still just a fanboys’ dream, the folks at Play magazine are willing to play bookie and lay the odds on who should make up the eclectic cast of characters in a full-on sequel. Imagine for a second what Marvel vs. Capcom 3 could look like if the developer took what they’ve done with Street Fighter IV and re-molded it for a new MvC title;the game’s engine already does a phenomenal job of breathing pseudo-3D life into the 2D fighting genre. And what about tapping the potential for fan-pleasing stages?
