The latest Famitsu issue revealed that a remake for the original Lunar game is coming to the PSP.
-Currently 65% done. -Getting a big graphics power-up from the Mega-CD and Saturn versions. -There will be new story scenarios added explaining events of the past that was never explained in previously released versions before.
HOLY SH*T! That must mean ETERNAL BLUE is getting the same treatment!!! *prays*
I sincerely hope this comes to North America. Give Eternal Blue the same treatment and it guarantees a buy from me.
Awesome, I'll definitely be getting this one. Love this game!
HOLY FRIGGIN GOD I'm buying a PSP right now. This is my favorite JRPG ever
The PSP is well worth owning. You're making a sound financial investment there... :)
I love the story of this game. I played both the Sega CD and PS1 version.
HOLY %&#^(% better come out here.
Welcome back Studio Alex, Welcome back You know people know Sephiroth as a bad Mofo, but never gave Ghaleon that dark light to shine under La La La La, La La La La, La La La La- La La La La Die Ebay Die Edit: I know Gung Ho, is doing the remake, but I will follow anyways.
How could Ghaleon be that evil if he listens to ABBA records? (The game said it, not me.)
If no one else brings it over, if they aren't already, they will.
There's a rumor that XSeed is doing it. Also, Gaijinworks, the company formed by former Working Designs president Victor Ireland is actually active, so it would be cool if they did it.
Working Designs was one of my fave publishers until they got canned. I've been praying that GaijinWorks will be more active. Their website has been merely under contruction for years. With any luck this will be something from them.
And they pretty much did themselves in taking forever to localize a title.
OMFG yes finally. I sold my of this game few years ago for $90. I wanted to buy the game again but it's way to expensive. I'm buying the PSP "remake" on day one.
Best news of the week. Hands down. PSP is kicking ass this year.
Link doesn't work
Not found 404 what is it!?
Yes! It looks better than I expected.
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete still ranks among my favorite RPGs of all-time, and never really got to play the original. I was devastated when I heard Working Designs shut down (right after they announced another Lunar game, too!). The GBA Lunar remake was ok at best, and the DS Lunar game was an abomination. I freaking can't wait to get this game.. this and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep are now two very overwhelming reasons to buy a PSP.
Should be to your best benefit to find a way to play both the original Sega CD version and the PSone remake. They're both excellent. I'm hoping this will be in the same league.
I hope they do Blue Moon Legacy as well. I liked that one but never got to finish it. Edit: My bad, meant eternal blue. Not sure where i got blue moon legacy from.
if Gaijinworks can round up all the voice actors from Silver Star to do the American version to revise their roles. I friggin love Silver Story (Story) and Eternal Blue, this was the series that got me into JRPG's when I was a child if XSeed is doing it, please please PLEASE do the translation in the same tone/style/humor as Working Designs...not the crappy UbiSoft ones (GBA Silver Star & Dragon Song for DS)
Bring it to PSN aswell i would love to this play this game with my Ps3
there is almost 0% of chance that the psx version get released on the PSN . BUt it's probable that the PSP version get a online release too ( sony seems to like this way of releasing games )
Awesome ! I still got the origial Lunar games on the Sega CD and also the remake of the first lunar for the PS1 ! Offcourse once this PSP Lunar Eternal blue pops in US I will "teleport"myself to a store and buy it ! Sony really looking forward to boost the PS3/PSP salles in Japan with all the recent RGPs launched like the Monster hunter(s)s , FF7 and that other PS1 classic ,WKC and FF13 for the PS3.. OMFG ! The japonese are akk gonna buy a PS3 and a PSP if they want to play some uber awesome new and remake of old Rpg games on this gen.
