The Escapist: Disciple Review

The Escapist writes:

"Before I begin, let me make one thing clear: my PvP experience is pretty much limited to World of Warcraft. I've encountered it in other MMO's, but all blame lies in WoW for making me assume the fetal position anytime PvP is mentioned. What horrific episode caused this irrational fear of PvP (aka Pwndophobia)? During my first WoW adventures, as a wee Undead mage exploring the countryside, innocently picking flowers, I was mercilessly stalked by a high level Paladin who proceeded to one-hit kill me and then laugh over my rotting corpse. Over and over and over again. That's right, I was corpse-camped, and I haven't been the same since."

Gamepyre: Disciple PC Review

Gamepyre writes: "I'm not going to lie... When I've heard that the next game that I was to review is FREE, well, I thought crap, now I'm in for it. Nothing in this world is free; not unless it is completely worthless.

My very next thought was: hmm... maybe the game is not bad at all but I bet there's a catch. I bet half the screen is going to be filled with advertisements. And the main reason why I don't watch TV is the advertisements. I hate advertisements with a passion since their main purpose is to brainwash us into purchasing unneeded and overpriced products."

TenTonHammer: Disciple Launch Interview

A new browser based MMOG is on the market, and it's called Disciple. This Free to Play game with optional microtransactions takes place in the violent world of Aphelion as players pit their skills against other players and fight for fame and power.

Ten Ton Hammer caught up with Resistor Productions CEO, Toby Batton, and he was more than happy to tell them more about the game.
