If you had to sum up the theme of BioWare's demo of Dragon Age: Origins last week at EA's pre-E3 event in Los Angeles, it would have to be sex and violence. The definitely M-for-Mature fantasy role-playing game has a brand new trailer, full of big battles, blood, and even a little nooky, all to the driving tune of Marilyn Manson. Just watching it reminds us that we've come a long way since Baldur's Gate, BioWare's very first role-playing game a decade ago.
After BioWare showed off the trailer we actually got to participate in a little of the violence ourselves, as IGN got a chance to check out one of the bigger boss battles in the game. There's not much context given, other than their characters were confronting a mage boss who had sold his soul to a demon, which means you'll have to beat him down. Of course, that's always easier said than done, especially when said mage boss transforms into a huge demon.
