Atlus really wants you to buy Devil Summoner 2. The first (only?) run of the game ships in a big plastic box displaying the cuddly plush version of Raiho, a.k.a. Shin Megami Tensei mascot Jack Frost, clad as Devil Summoner hero Raidou Kuzunoha. Really, they should have done that with the first Devil Summoner, as it was a game that slipped way under the radar in late 2006, before the Atlus onslaught of awesomeness arrived with Persona 3 and 4. But this isn't a time to point fingers, because regardles of whether you missed the last Devil Summoner, the sequel is just as much of a worthy pick-up -- with doll or without.
