...because it doesn't compare to the $60 million graphics that sony sank into Killzone 2. Newsflash, not every developer has $60 million to make a video game.

I think today's bar has been set a little too high graphically. Small companies don't have the resources to compete anymore. They go out of business.

Meanwhile, the history of the GAMEPLAY of DN3D is legendary:

A Shrink Ray - Shrink your opponents. Can reflect off of mirrors. Then squish em with your foot. (I noticed in one screen, a little Duke is driving an RC car awesome)

A Freeze Ray - Freeze your opponents, then boot em into ice pieces. Can also reflect.

The pipe bomb - lay a bunch of pipe bombs near a health powerup, then run to the nearest security cam control panel, and set it off when they go for the bait.

Holoduke - a holographic version of you that draws enemies out. Then you rpg em...hehe

Jet pack - people never think to look "up"

you add in some titties, swearing, lotsa gore, and some great one liners, and you have yourself a real game. who cares what the graphics look like, the game itself has excitement, attitude, and comedy all wrapped in one.

It's awesome. Anyone who thinks it's overrated is an idiot. It's still WAY ahead of its time.
