From That Aussie Game Site: "Sony has revealed that two new games will be coming to the PSP very soon, actually as soon as June. The games are AFL Challenge and Rugby League Challenge.

The game is being developed by Wicked Witch Software, in Melbourne no less, and don't worry the games carry the official licence of both the AFL and NRL. So you can expect all your favourite teams and players."
AFL Challenge suffers from half-baked ideas and cutting corners on development. The poorly tuned difficulty and lousy gameplay make what should be fun an unrewarding bore. AFL fans are better off leaving this alone and spending the money on tickets to a live game.
While AFL is a huge sport in Australia (and especially Victoria), the fact that the sport's region of interest is so restricted means that football games are often developed on shoestring budgets and in a short time frame. On such tight budgets, gamers cannot legitimately expect the AFL games to have the high quality presentation and gloss of EA's sports efforts. They should however expect a playable game that can provide a bit of entertainment. This brings us to AFL Challenge, Wicked Witch Software's PSP exclusive footy game. So how does it shape up?
Ultimately, the game's all-or-nothing difficulty, dodgy camera, and lack of compelling reason to return once you've completed a season makes Rugby League Challenge extremely hard to enjoy regardless of how well you play it. If you like your Rugby League games, give this one a miss and dust off your copy of Rugby League 2 instead.
This is what this gen is missing. Great graphics, physics, and rugby, I'd buy it.
