Xbox 360: May '09 Game Releases

Things are starting to look up this month after a very slowwwwww April for the Xbox 360.

Highlights for the month of May 2009 include Bionic Commando, Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage and Pitt Expansion, UFC 2009 Undisputed, and Rock Band: Classic Rock Track Pack.

What titles are you looking forward to?

And a sloooooooooooooooooooow month is a bad thing? I just started playing Fallout 3. With so many games available, I need slow months to catch up.

once the expansion comes out for fallout 3 that'll be another week on that game. i quit playing as soon as i hit lvl 20.

Why stop playing? You might not get some exp, you could still end up with with some cool weapons etc like the deathclaw gauntlet.

Just wanna make sure i can get to lvl 30 though, doesn't seem theres a lot of XP since the new expansions don't have that many quest lines, and just going in to the wilderness to grind for XP is boring. Already have all the custom made weapons as well.

Fuel is lame, Xmen origins is lame, and bionic commando is lame because the multiplayer demo was lame. II dnt think any of those are must buys.

I agree with tall tony. A slow month is characterized by when you have to buy less than desirable games just to get new games to play. I advise sticking to your old library of games or renting a bunch. Back when all i had was a PS3, i went thru tons of slow months characterized by purchasing games like spiderman 3, kane and lynch e.t.c.

Now i only buy top quality stuff. Fuel might be cool but i don't think its a must buy non of the other games imo are even worth renting...except for maybe bionic commando.

Also in my opinion, slow months ARE a bad thing. Summer is about to roll up i'm getting done with the semester and i'm going to be playing a ton of games. Slow months hamper your ability to "play a ton of games"

Exactly, slow months suck. to me fuel looks less than interesting. Bionic commando demo sucked and the xmen origins game might be better than the movie but it still is sub par. I only buy must have multiplatforms and exclusive games. I stopped waisting my money on games I have no interest in playing. I figure their is just so many must play games that their is no point even playing the not so good games.

Edit: @necroplasm, yes from what I have seen of fuel it looks like a very boring and drab game. check gametrailers. lightning and tornados once in a while does not translate to a instant buy for me.

Those fuel screenshots look really nice. It will take more than that to convince me though. I am yet to see anything from the game scream "buy me"

It looks awesome to me man.

5,000 miles² (14,000 km²) in size and be completely free to roam, with no loading times.

and the weather effects are just so cool to have in a off road racing game. But I am still waiting for a good review or a rent before I buy

Your smoking crack if you think Fuel sucks. Fuel is going to be a beast of a racing game. There is a marathon race that lasts from 40-minutes to 4-hours! C you at the finish line!

It's the 3rd one, not Anchorage or Pitt, it's the one that you can join the Brotherhood of Steel (I forget the name of it). That's the one that raises the cap to 30. If you go on Xbox live they have a preview for it.

Fuel might be good, and I stress the word might. I never call a game crap until I read the reviews. That's just how the world should work, you damn pessimists. A lot of the people on here bashing the lineup are just fanboys from another console (which will go unnamed because it's not the console's fault).

Plus, whoever said Fuel will have 5,000 miles, squared of area with no loading times is a dumbass. Just really, really dumb. Like "the bottom of my shoe" dumb.
