Bionic Commando Multiplayer Lacks Inspiration

Bionic Commando is the sixth game in its series and sequel to Bionic Commando: Rearmed. The original was first released in 1988 on the NES and has since been reincarnated and reinvisioned on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade as Rearmed in August 2008. The latest installment, also called Bionic Commando, is due to be released on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 on the 19th May in North America, with the PC version arriving in early June.

Hmm, the Bionic Commando multiplayer does seem a bit like Lost Planet advanced.

lost planet was so much better....I felt like I was fighting the grappling system the whole time I was playing. The hud was also much better in lost planet.

I wanted to like the demo, but I am sure this will be a rental.

the grapling feels like lost planet to me totally doesn't have the loose feeling i thought it would have

I can't remember Lost Planet to much, could you swing around with the grapple, or just kinda zoom right to where you shot it too?

I think it was pretty linear in Lost Planet.

Yeah the grappling in lost planet was just used to pull yourself towards a target, there wasn't really any momentum involved, but the premise in how it is executed is much the same in Bionic Commando.

Anyone who actually PLAYED the game, knows you could swing side-to-side, and even get completely VERTICAL. I played 100s of hours of LP on LIVE...so I should know.

Aye I played Lost Planet online for while, was rather fun I think the massive weapons and mechs helped that a bit though, this just seemed a lot less varied.

I never played lost planet online but I will say the bionic commando demo left me disapointed. I already pre ordered UFC, so I was going to pick up either Terminator/Bionic as well. Looks like I'm picking up Terminator.

lost planet and bionic commando are both rubbish. i remembered people saying they look better than uncharted,lol. fanboys will never learn that a game made to be the same on the inferior system will always be held back by graphics and game content and ooften times have a lot of issues .

have you people seen killzone 2 or uncharted 2? killzone 2 made the xbox 360 become the xbox 180, theyve been killzOWNED. sony sent the rubbish xbox on a CHARTED bus back to microsoft.

I actually play KZ2 sometimes and gotta tell you, it's not the best all around game I've played. Sure it looks great but story wise I just couldn't get into it and the multiplayer is just like any other shooter but looks better. Over all a good game but I thought uncharted was 10x better than KZ2. Graphics does not make a game the greatest game ever. You have to combine it with game play. Another example would be your hate for the 360 plus your lack of sense makes you a Troll. Not one or the other by it's self. Good day.

Oh, how I miss the old Capcom days of innovation, of pure fun *Big Sigh of disappointment.

I can't believe what they have become, and the biggest let down this year for me is still SFIV.

I didn't play the demo, of Bionic Commando, and didn't want to, since both SSF2THD, and BC, were ploys to sale two pieces of trash.

A lot of people may gripe about Final Fantasy, but G**D***, at least they don't make games that go backwards in design, or give Captain D-Bag, who runs around w/said cheesy name, and even more lame proposition to play game.

Exclusive/Multiplat or not, this is sad sad sad, what happened to exploration of an IP, where everything revolved around the characters,and didn't focus so hard on, taking that experience from the player.

With my disheartning comment, having been said I can see Dark Void,being lost in it's own title's name.

Please I want a CVSNK 3, so bad, or a new Breath of Fire, like 4, but I just don't think they have it anymore.

demo was terrible...this game should be a 10 buck download type game.
60 bucks, based upon the demo is a frigging joke
