IGN: Magna Carta 2 Preview

Xbox 360 gamers might be pleased to know Namco Bandai is bringing a new role-playing game, Magna Carta 2, this year exclusively to Microsoft's console. Built using Unreal Engine 3, the sequel is being developed by SoftMax, the studio responsible for the first Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, which was released back in 2005 for Sony's PlayStation 2.

but it was all CGI stuff....wheres the gameplay? Is this a remake of the ps2 version or a true sequel I'm not a jrpg fan so I don't claim to know much about them, I'm just curious, its weird cause I never even heard of this game until I saw some scans from a mag the other day, I told a friend of mine who likes SO4 and he never heard of it either.

...I dunno, the last one i played was ff12 and the voice acting, story, characters were just awful and shallow... i like that this one actually seems to have heart..

hopefully the gameplay won't take away from that

Looking forward to this one. I'll see what they say about it.

Nice, I thought this was only Japan. Also, that Squar Enix game "Final Mission" is coming. 360 has alot of Japanese support.

Seven under-rated single player epics for the long weekend

OXM's Edwin writes: "The sun is shining, there's a half-finished copy of Bioshock Infinite back home, I've got a third-hand 3DS in the post (it cost £80 - sucks to be you, launch buyers!) and another long Easter weekend is upon us. How are you spending yours - engaging in religious ceremonies? Decapitating make-believe rabbits? Dying of chocolate? Visiting your drunken excesses on relatives? Or playing videogames?"

Singularity is a great and fun game.

MikeMyers4045d ago

Yes it is. Too Human on the other hand wasn't.

Morgue4045d ago

I remember playing the Too Human demo on the 360 and I thought it was horrendous. I came across the game last summer for $3.00 and couldn't stop playing it.

No More Heros needs to be on that list

Baka-akaB4045d ago (Edited 4045d ago )

Lots of mediocre titles in that list save Amalur and Overlord . There are better underrated titles out there , some more ignored than that list
