Teamxbox: Mafia II First Look Preview

Way back in 2002, an idiosyncratic video game came out for the PC, from an idiosyncratic game publisher, Gathering of Developers. It was called Mafia and it was a third person shooter set in the 1930's, an era rarely explored in the world of games.

But considering that was the golden age of organized crime – thank you Prohibition – it seemed fitting. And even though the subsequent port to the Xbox in 2004 wasn't all that great, the original game had a special charm, and robust approach to the GTA-style of open world gaming.
