This is one those games people are talking about when they say "Graphics dont matter". Cause the gameplay looks solid and the versitilty is amazing. My final word. This game looks fun. *Im not a graphics whore* (all the time)

By a show of votes please tell me who agree's and who disagree's.

I agree about it looking like fun, but at the same time chaotic.
I think i will prefer this over a fps.
I will pick this up but I'm curious as to how much its going to cost.

Those people that green-lighted progress on the ground combat aspects of this game should be demoted to the platform testing tools division.

Classic game design gone awry. Rather than focusing on the core of the title (the flying) and getting it perfect, they tried to throw in every single idea in the world, meaning that the overall quality of each aspect suffers given that resources become diluted.

Look at the deleted levels section on GodOW...they cut nearly completed _levels_ and ideas (Icarus wings) that Dave loved in order to focus on tuning and perfecting the best parts.

Had this game been about flying and only flying it would have been a retail disk with the potential to be quite the showpiece. I'm going with a poor is his or her job to make the hard decisions to keep the product on track.

Does anyone here actually think Warhawk is better because it has ground combat? Because I would prefer a purely polished cult classic flying game.

BTW, I'm really not dissing what came out, given that I haven't played a build in quite a while. It may very well be fun and I (like most of you) will certainly pick it up...the issue is that I think the game could have been _awesome_ if they had just been a little more focused. The final output is sort of a BF2142 looking hybrid game...rather than the fun shooter that the first game was.

Most of us also know that Crimson Skies was at the point where they were adding too much extra crap (non aircraft levels), so MS brought in a new producer and designer to focus on making the core game great (and a year late).

Exactly what should have been done to Warhawk, I'm afraid.

How do we know they haven't perfected the air combat as well...I'm sure they have. this is just an addition - you can see why they moved to multiplayer only. (ps. this isnt the only game to do so...Shadowrun?)

Hehe I like the way they run and jump - they remind me of monkeys in suits.

UrbanJabroni - Wow...having a little debate with yourself there lol
