PCFormat reports on some classic Sierra titles that are getting some love: "Martin Kool has been hard at work messing around with his beloved ol' skool Sierra adventure games and the result is Sarien, a little browser-based place for the playing of ol' Sierra adventures ... it's not just a kopy (sic) of the originals, Kool and kolleague Sjoerd Visscher have added in a unique multiplayer-ish element."
Get ready for some nostalgia.
Yes,
and I absolutely loved the logo of Sierra for some reason.
Maybe, mainly because of F.E.A.R. 😈
yes, everyone or at least most people should try to play some of them
I never played any 80s games, but played most of the 90's and early 2000's Sierra games
Pixel Crow´s adventure/Cop sim "Beat Cop" is like a mix of "Police Quest", "Miami Vice", "Lethal Weapon" and "Mad Bull 34". Well, I (Robin Ek, TGG) really love that mix. So I enjoyed the pre-alpha demo of "Beat Cop" quite a bit, and this is the reason why.
For a brief moment, I actually thought that Beat Cop was a beat-em-up game :P Oh well, the game looks rather cool any ways.

"Well, unless you count the intro. Nevertheless, I coldn´t kill anyone in the demo :P"
True, but I couldn´t even pull out Kelly´s gun in the demo. So I hardly doubt that one could kill anyone in the demo.
Let's look at games that legitimately switched to entirely different genres altogether over time.
