In March this year the famous german tv gaming broadcaster GIGA was closed down. One of the biggest gaming websites in Germany - GIGA.de - was supposed to be abandoned, too. But now IGN Entertainment has gathered the website, GIGA.de now belongs to IGN, more precisely to the Rupert Murdochs Corporation which owns IGN.
Chris Ellis, Senior Vice President & Managing Director International of IGN Entertainment utters to it in the following way:
"We're glad to bid welcome to GIGA.de and that we can expand our international network at the german market. Germany is one of the biggest gaming sectors in Europe and that's why we cooperated with GIGA.de"
