Uncharted 2 boss - "The demo's getting closer…"

VG247: Naughty Dog boss Evan Wells has revealed that "the demo's getting closer," on his Twitter account, saying earlier this week that, "The most important deadline so far on Uncharted 2 is right around the corner!"

Co-op would be fine with me. Also, some multiplayer like deathmatch games or whatever. Wouldnt it be great to move around while shooting and have your characters react to their environment rather than be a tank deathmatch mode?

I must've played through the first demo like 20 times so this is good news.

I think there probably won't be CO-OP, at least not one that is worked right into the story, because that would mean Drake would always have a companion in the game. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a Co OP mode if one was put in.

KZ2 was an AMAZING space marine game, but space marine nonetheless. Variety is good, Sony in-house games are pretty diverse. From space marines (KZ2), to awesomely innovative platformers (LBP), you just can choose and pick one :D. RPG is the missing link, but then they are coming from third parties like SEGA.

Uncharted 2 is shapping to be awesome, I expect it to be universally acclaimed in metacritic, 92+, but I doubt I'll pick it up launch day, I want to play U1 first :D

It isn't our fault, the hardcore gamers that use the internet regularly to know about these games is actually a small percentage of the user base of the PS3.

It is sony's fault for not telling people about the game, i knew people at college a week before kz2 release that didn't even know what killzone 2 was - they're gamers, they're on their PS3 all the time - however, they don't use these type of websites.

Sony needs to let these people know about the games, infact - i'd let them add a whole advertising tab on the XMB just to let people know about upcoming games, i don't think anyone would mind that - especially since no one minds it on the 360.

@above: Why pay money to be in Msoft's pen1s size competition, when word of mouth will sell plenty of games for free. As of this month, they have a million people who will show or tell their friends.

I don't actually think that Uncharted 2 will be better than Uncharted drakes fortune, I love the game and i am going to have uncharted 2 of course!
The reason why i don't think it will be better is just because of the area, your character (Nathan Drake) is. I think the Gameplay will be better than the first game of course (new thing's to do). The area is close to Fallout 3 or something like that.
I liked the jungle a lot, but i don't like a place like destroyed city, It's just not so like a treasure hunting game anymore.

dont be sorry to express your opinion , it is just your opinion which by the way i respect but differ from it at the same time , from a technical point of view uncharted 2 i think will be better than uncharted drakes fortune(not just uncharted 1.5) and a strong competition to the real God of war 3 and Heavy rain , gameplay will be much diverse and overall better than the first one , i expect a huge game this time and if you think you only gonna be hunting a treasure on a destroyed city let me tell you right now you my friend are seriously mistaken and a very nice surprise awaits you and it is still a treasure hunting game but with changes appointing to the right direction ( everything that makes drakes fortune great from a gameplay point of view will be there) but there will be more things to it and dont be sorry to express your opinion and from your comment im 100% sure you are gonna be surprised when you play Among thieves

Of course it's possible this E3 demo will get polished up and put on the PSN just before the game launches, so in a way they might be working on the distributable demo. They're just not going to release it to the public any time soon.

UNCHARTED 1 remains one of the best games I've played, EVER. Never have the script, acting, visuals and gameplay come together so perfectly to create such an amazing & enjoyable experience for me.

Even now, two years later, I'm still playing through it (and am sooo close to finishing it on 'Crushing'), so AMONGST THIEVES will be my game of the year, without a doubt (and that's even if GOD 3 comes out in 09).

i gotta say when getting another ps3 again a week ago, this has been my most "thought about game" this year. i liked and beat uncharted 1 in a few nights because i rented it, and i just couldn't put it down.

i also think uncharted 2 will turn just as many heads as killzone 2 did graphically. will be wanting this day 1
