PS3 Review by MSN

MSN.UK has reviewed Sony's Playstation 3 console going on sale March 23rd in the PAL region. In their review the bring up valid points and a great conclusion to their article. Here are some quotes:

The key thing to know about the Cell is that it has the juice to run a new class of gameplay physics that will allow developers to create spectacular effects and eventually provide a whole new depth of realism to games. Cell is paired with PlayStation 3's RSX 'Reality Synthesiser' graphics-processing unit -- a gargantuan 550MHz, 300-million-transistor graphics chip based on Nvidia's GeForce 7800 GTX graphics technology."

well do we have to say it again

TITLE that has been Sony Fony'd

"PS3 Reviewed"

is the original title.

This is not creative journalism, this is a Sony fanboy twisting stuff

You say creative, I say trying to put anything so Sony positive that it's not publishing just news anymore. Let's put in the more important stuff then to give it some balance:

"The big question, of course, is whether the PS3 is £150 better than the Xbox 360. From a purely gaming perspective, the short answer is: no, not today. As with any new gaming system, you're going to have to wait at least a year before you see game developers begin to get the most out of the PS3, and right now, there isn't a game out there that's able to beat the best titles on the Xbox 360."

"The long and short of it is that the PS3 clearly measures up to the Xbox 360 in terms of its graphics prowess. That said, there really isn't anything available yet that's unique or so far beyond what the Xbox 360 offers that you think, "I have to get this system to play that game."

You're indeed looking at high end hardware. Might be called a computer/PC. But not the best gaming device indeed, agreed on that one!

I'm not taking any sides but I'm also tired in seeing people manipulating and twisting articles. There should be rules or guidelines preventing it. This place is getting worse than Fox News...

That's why it's unbiased TheMart. Unbias doesn't mean it's positive for the means it looks logically at both sides of the argument and as you can see its conclusion is not positive.

So how is saying unbias positive for Sony? Kind of missing your point here.

Would have been a bias twisted title if it said "PS3 review: PS3 versatile and impressive". Get off your high horse and stop doing pr everywhere.

Soooo I suppose the right thing to do would of been to. Copy and Paste the conclusion of the article. That way no one has a right to jump to the original authors page and see how they made this good review. Right? Not only that but out of a very detailed review that is worth reading for PAL PS3 buyers. I should of went out of my way to pick out the negative paragraph in the entire review. Correct? So the review is about 90% Pro-PS3. They look at everything fairly and evenly. You honestly believe that me posting this in the "PS3" news section and then going into the article to dig up negativity. That wouldnt be fanboying? Yes it would. It would be Xbox360 fanboying. You A smart guy. YOu be the judge. Tell me which of the following examples merit fanboying.

1. Posting a Pro-Sony article in the Sony news channel highlighting the positive aspects upon wich the majortity of the article is based on.

2. Posting a Pro-Sony article in the PS3 section highlighting the only hint of flame bait in the entire page long review?

Your answer.... Please?

Anyone who agrees with me. Just hit agree. If you dont then hit disagree. But for gods sake grow some ballzz and dont vote me and try to shut me up. Cause thats just called fear. Fear of the Truth.

Look at your headline. "PS3 Review: An Extremely Unbiased Point of View"

How can you measure how biased an article is? It's either biased or unbiased. It can't be "extremely unbiased", as you wrote, which in turn makes your headline biased.

See my point?

At last more people that speak their mind...

Anyone can go to kotaku or any other well known site and copy/ actually do some digging to find most of your stuff. Plus, you show nice a$$ pics. :-)

of hearing about consoles, I want to hear about Games.
I play games not consoles.

So Mart jumped on you the other day for posting an article that has a title clearly biased toward the PS3. Then today he jumps on you for posting an article stating that an article is unbiased. I read it and it's about as unbiased as these things get. I guess he'll only leave you alone when you find a PS3 review that states that the PS3 is inferior to the 360.

Im feeling alot like Sony these days..

"Dammned if I do. Damned if I dont !"

Go figure.

...nor do I care to, quite honestly.

But the best solution to your dilemma is to do what I did and reach for that God-send of a hyperlink aptly labeled "IGNORE."

I promise you that upon doing so, it'll feel like a breath of fresh air, and make the thread seem more...and call me crazy here...sensible.

BTW: Keep up the good work with your submissions.
