Shacknews writes:
"For as often as the media thinks I've been morally assaulted by video games, so far not one of them has coaxed so much as an indignant sniffle out of Old-Man Gamer. This may have a lot to do with routine exposure to certain Counter-Strike sprays, but that's what it takes to become hardcore.
So it was very strange to sit there on a Thursday night, one hand clasped around a Norwegian bottle of spring water, the other clenched tight in a fist around an hours'devours napkin, as Konami's Six Days in Fallujah shocked and awed my moral center. This was new."
The Command and Control Update brings that Republic Commando fix after two decades of waiting.
"The Seattle-based (Washington , the US) indie games publisher Victura and indie games developer Highwire Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just released three new missions for their first-person tactical shooter "Six Days in Fallujah", nearly doubling the content in the game (the new missions is available right now for PC via Steam Early Access)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Six Days In Fallujah is a controversial military sim which just hit Early Access. Jump Dash Roll dives into the battlefield to give its first impressions on a possible rival to Call of Duty.
Nick Breckon, I'll be watching out for your articles on shacknews.com
Considering how much lies were pumped into the public regarding the American attack on Fallujah and the invasion of Iraq this game is in extremely bad taste and I feel it is more of an attempt to cash in on the publicity surrounding the assault there rather than producing a good game.
Konami, I'll think very hard about purchasing any of your software from now on.
