In what at first seems like an impossible mismatch, the Match-3 puzzle and Solitaire formats are combined to create single levels. In Quest Mode, Players contend with the Solitaire aspect first, which influences the complexity of the Match-3 Bonus Stage. As opposed to the most common rule set variation of Solitaire (the seven-down, seven-across set-up), the grid is variable is size and shape, and cards are played not onto each string, but onto a single string generated from the deck. As the cards are dealt onto the grid, the top card of the remaining deck is used as a base card upon which players may move a card of one value higher or lower onto, continuing in succession until there are no cards of one value greater or lower than on the grid.
