Brutal Legend?
Dark Void?
Beyond G&E 2?
Red Dead Redemption?

PotNoodle3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

Because it isn't the same guy. The story is about the assassins history, this guy is just another ancestor.

Basically, it isn't the same guy as the last game.

Anyway, the game looks great - loved the first one, recently put it back in and hasn't aged much at all - combat, controls and all are still great.

There are a few things i hope they improve, but i'm really looking forward to this - i hope they get it out this year.

Freak of Nature3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

Swimming and flying/gliding are great additions,if implemented correctly...

I knew the game would have beautiful eye candy, and am happy to see this will continue to be the case. The settings are nice choices.

The list of gameplay changes/additions shown the other day also bode well for this game. The first game while very good, was a flawed masterpiece, and the issues of "repetitive" gameplay look to be addressed...

This along with Beyond good and evil 2,CODMF2,and Dark void look to be leading the way for 3rd party games...

Very promising,I cannot wait to see more details at E3....It'll be my 10th E3,and this is one of my most anticipated games,it'll be real good,I just hope it can reach a great status...

what the fu*k is this sh!t; I'm fu*kin speechless, this gam gonna rock!!!!!!!!!!

xabmol3475d ago

I was replying to KionicWarlord222 and his, "people say there arent many good multi plats coming out lol" comment.

WTF did you disagreers think I was talking about? Did you think I was responding to Marcelles25?

Buttons3475d ago

I CAN tell from the pictures how good this game is looking, but where are these 'amazing scans' the title claims? All I see are some tiny arse thumbnail-size pictures.

I love Venise and the Gondole ! A setting never tried before in a game! Very charming !

xabmol3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

Obviously I'm missing something here. Anyone care to tell me what it is?

@my 1 disagree

Go on... Tell me what I missed. Tell my why you disagree. I'm all ears.

matchgrade3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

It's sad to see a child get this worked up over 1 disagree, but i'll just help you out. KionicWarlord's statement "and people say there arent many good multi plats coming out lol" references what he has observed OTHER people believe, not what he himself believes, hence "people" and not "I." He even laughs at the notion that there aren't any good multiplatform games coming out, which he knows is not true. Therefore there was no reason for you to get all hostile towards him and start listing games trying to prove him wrong, concluding with a condescending "Hello?"

Timesplitter143475d ago

It's because you overreact and it's as if you accused HIM of saying multiplats aren't good.

xabmol3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

I wasn't upset by the disagrees. I was just wondering why I was getting them.

I would like to thank you guys for actually replying.

What I was trying to say with my first post was that, I have seen many, MANY people exited over the multiplat games I listed. I'm sure everyone here at N4G is exited for at least one of those games.

I haven't seen one person saying "there arent many good multi plats coming out" since mid 08. This would be like saying "and people say the PS3 has no games." Nobody says that anymore. Not even the worst trolls here can use that one anymore.

singhjeet293475d ago

he said good multiplats ... and what you listed may not be considered "good" multiplats atleast by some (ie people might be uninterested in them). The only one that interests me is Red Dead Redemption. But how do you go and talk about good multiplats without mentioning BioShock 2 or Max Payne 3 is beyond me.

MicroSony4Life3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

if that porn star is still involved in this game?

I am also working on a math problem, can some one help me.

1. Which of the following is equivalent to (x)(x)(x)(x), for all x ?

A. 4x

B. x4

C. x + 4

D. 4 x

E. 2x2

Timesplitter143475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

um, it's obviously B (x at the power of 4)

Is that an elementary school problem or what?

and what's the difference between A and D?

ThanatosDMC3475d ago

Gigantic plus if he can swim this time around. Remember that level by the docks?

umair_s513475d ago

I thought that was 1 of the best things about Assassins Creed i still play it every now and then (just so i can hack and stab a few enemies)

Im sure theyll learn from there previous mistakes and not make the game so repetitive

Its gonna b good

LarVanian3475d ago

Despite the fact I hated the first one, I have high hopes for this one.....Mainly because Ubisoft will have (probably) learned from their mistakes in the first game.

mintaro3475d ago

I sincerely hope so, as this game is looking friggen awesome.

xabmol3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

Unless they add an actual jump button and make the climbing more interactive then Mark Ecko's "Getting Up" then I'll pass.

lol @ disagrees

Please, tell me what you're disagreeing with.

SuperM3475d ago

didnt press disagree, but i loved the climbing in Assassins creed. The problem with the game was that all the missions were the same, has nothing to do with the climbing mechanics. And obviously the people working at ubisoft montreal arent retards. Ofcourse they are going to improve on the game and learn from previous misstakes. Does that mean that they cant go wrong again? no... but its kinda stupid not to think they will make significant improvements to the sequel. They have 240 people working on the game, and they already have the engine from the first game so they can fully focus on making the game great. This is the only multiplatform game that has me really excited.

xabmol3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

If you liked the climbing you should try "Getting Up" because its got the same climbing mechanic. Attach to wall then use the analog to move.

I would have been ok with the repetitive objectives if the game play was fun. The no jump button and simplistic climbing just killed it for me. Guitar Hero is EXTREMELY repetitive but it is still fun to play to this day because it is easy to play but hard to master. The AC game play was easy to play and... thats about it.

"This is the only multiplatform game that has me really excited."

What about Beyond G&E 2 or Brutal Legend?

SprSynJn3474d ago

I didn't notice any. Just because you didn't like it doesn't make it flawed you know. Personally I thought it was great and is one of my favorites on the PS3. But that doesn't mean I am going to state it was flawless. Learn to be more open.

Now I have to add this to my "Want List"! MAG, GOW3, Infamous, FF13, and now this. Thats a lot of money to spend.
