It is similar to Sony pushing a 160GB PS3 for $500 when it is identical to the 80GB. The $100 difference can buy you a 320GB hard drive 2.5" for about $50 and remaining for a game....

Well you get a free month of live and by that time you realize how important the cross game voice chat is. There are so many other real scams going on than to worry about 4 freaking bucks a month that delivers perks PSn could only dream of.

Until PSn matches live feature for feature it's still far behind. It's going to take PSn at least another 3 years to get where Live is at right now. Also at E3 I'm sure there will be even more stuff rolled out that set it even further. Sonys patch work can only go so far this gen.

Nobody is glad to pay for Live but however we do understand that you pay for what you get. If you enjoy that semi online services for free then fine. Like I said before I could care less about the minor differences, since I will not notice them at all when I am playing the game. And I had all 3 consoles as well but got rid of the Wii since to me it was crap after Zelda and Mario Galaxy. I buy games depending on where I want to play them, and if they have online or not. I keep my PS3 in my living room and 360 in my room. and I do not waste 50 bucks just to be able to play online. I use that money for other games or DLC.

You DO know right that all you're paying for when you pay the Gold subscription is for "the ability" to play online. And just recently you get demos earlier now. And that's pretty much it. The issue has come up, because PSN offers a great online service for free. XBL should not charge it's users for use of it's network. Again, you're defending the price of XBL, means you are glad to pay for it. MS really knows how to brainwash you guys. Even PC online gaming is free.

Are you kidding us with that? There are what, two games on PSN that use dedicated servers? Everything else is P2P in case you thought to do your homework correctly.

PSN's foundation is also substantially *less* developed than Live (which is why it's free) That's why it takes longer to get a message to someone, there's no VoIP because there are no VoIP servers on PSN (which is why voice chat sounds horrible in PS3 games), and matchmaking has to be done by the game developers on PSN, unlike Live where it is done automatically by MS.

That "oh PSN uses dedicated servers" BS is so two years ago; only someone who has no idea what they're talking about would say that.

Look, for example the PS3 base have a multitude of exclusive games in different genres that spreads it out. It's not just Killzone 2 but you have high active online users in Motorstorm 2, R:fom1 and R2, Killzone 2, HOME, SOCOM, Warhawk, LBP, etc and these are the ones that have high usage and not normal level usage with exclusives like motorstorm1, High velocity bowling, High stakes poker, Crash Commandos etc etc

On the 360 the two main exclusive games with high online usage are Halo and geow2 and they're both shooters.

I'm not saying that there wouldn't be cheaper alternatives for the 360 out there (I got the Pro when I bought mine), and I do agree that Sony is really being idiotic with wearing that price point like some badge of honor when it's that that's killing them right now (not by much, but you get my point).

That being said, though, this bundle is getting praised as being a good move and a great bundle to save up for when these very same people b!tch about the PS3 that's the exact same price.
