Woah. Didn't expect that.

Might import this

badz1493479d ago

is this "that" FFVII for PS1 that people were talking about?

Megaton3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

Didn't see this one coming so suddenly. The whole JPSN store is decorated in FFVII fashion right now, background and everything.

Kinda makes me wanna blow the dust off my copy and pop it in.

gaffyh3479d ago

Wow, this is actually surprising. Does the "International" version have English text?

Megaton3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

Someone's not too happy with this news. The disagree fairy is spreading jealousy and hate all up in here. I wonder which group of this site's users they could possibly be from? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

gaffyh3479d ago

@Xiphos - Yeah lol, I wonder. As compensation I'm just going to bubble up everyone and agree with everyone

rogimusprime3479d ago

wow, youre right.

There literally is some fairy in here hating and disagreeing with people for no reason. Some people in here need to seriously examine their lives.

badz1493479d ago

true that. I got 2 disagrees for asking a question! this is indeed the famous FFVII, right? but this disagree fairy (dumbass suits better imo) should just stop annoying people!

The Phantom Agree3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

It appears I have a lot of damage control to do :)

Edit: Agree's and Bubbles for EVERYONE on the first page as of when i posted this message :D

meepmoopmeep3479d ago

never heard of Final Fantasy VII
is it any good?

:)

Prototype3479d ago

WHAT? AM I READING THIS RIGHT?'

Square actually did something right for once?

TheTwelve3479d ago

Square sniffed the fact that PS3s are selling like hotcakes in Japan, and want a piece. Since I already own the original game, I'll get this on PSN as soon as it comes to the NA store.

"Someone's not too happy with this news. The disagree fairy is spreading jealousy and hate all up in here. I wonder WHICH group of this site's users they could possibly be from? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..."
Which?? Don't you mean WHO? Cause obviously it's only one person moving multiple accounts.

The Phantom Agree3479d ago

I don't think its multiple accounts
Pressing a single button (in my case two cause i give bubbles too)
is a very tedious task despite sounding it easy

To do it for so many articles and disagree 3 or 4 times for almost every comment is a close to impossible task

Most probably a group btw BUBBLES and AGREES UP ++

SaiyanFury3479d ago

Wow, I predicted this one would be released just not this soon. I have my original black label game, but if they bring this to North America and I can play it on my PSP, I will do so the instant it's available. :)

(The original PlayStation version of this title is compiled of several CD_ROMs and requires the switching of discs during gameplay)

wtf?

*opens up his mint FF7 bought at launch*

umm, 3 discs. yep, 3.

I am suprised at how many people who do not have this game already, if you never played it, enjoy, but nothing will ever compare to playing this game when it came out, it was truly amazing.

slayorofgods3479d ago

When is the clasic FF7 coming out for the xbox360, oh yeah thats right it's not!!!!!!
Go ahead feed your rage and press the disagree button, but in the mean time hahahahaha nananana you cant play FF7. Oh the sweat tears of all the disagrees!!!!!!

SaiyanFury3479d ago

Boy the Disagreement Troll is really running wild in this post.

jerethdagryphon3479d ago

ive been saying it for yars this game would be on psn and likly will sell consoles expecialy if people lost a disc broke ps1/2

slayorofgods3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

Agreed! I have never seen such internet rage like this in a long time. I find it very humorous that someone is this freaked out from the news FF7 coming to the PSN.

I think all the disagrees are a good sign that someone in bed with the side of the competition is afraid of losing SE or something which they might. But that is because MS are preventing SE from promoting their new ff movie by using a ps3 demo of ff13 with the purchase of a blueray dvd. SE couldn't be happy with MS's move. The result is ff7 on the PSN as SE promotes the PS3 anyway.

By the way I don't mean to offend all xbox360 owners, but this thread has a current troll problem and he isn't man enough to post a comment as to why he disagrees.

WeaseL3479d ago

Bubbles and Agree's for all

SaiyanFury3478d ago

@1.19 slayorofgods

No kidding the disagrees are rampant in this post. I merely said that'd I'd love to play this on my PSP or even on my PS3, and I got a bunch of disagrees. I cannot speak about 360 fans or people against the PS3, but mine was a simple statement of fact. Yet so many people disagree with me that there's got to be some anti-PS3 movement present. Heh, it's an interesting movement. People refuse to accept that Final Fantasy 7 is available on the PSN, and they deny it. It will, no doubt be released in North America, it is only a matter of time. FF7 was a landmark game on the PS and to deny it on the PSN is simply a mark of ignorance. It's already available on the asian PS Store. To deny it for the rest of the world is small minded.

edgeofblade3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

I'll bet if I post something negative about FFVII, I'd get even more disagrees.

Either way, I sold my copy to a friend in need and am now Cloud-less. I'm in the market to replace it... and a PSN version sounds great.

Snake Raiser3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

I finally get to play this.
Here is a good YouTube for making a Jap. PSN account.

DaTruth3479d ago

If you make a Japanese account, can you buy stuff off PSN from another country? Do credit cards work in other currencies? Serious question, PM me!

DarK-SilV3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

If you are from Europe ,can you buy games from US and Japan PSN

Ahmay3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

but i not know the method....

kungfuruss on youtube from uk gets his psn from us.

youtube should have walkthroughs for geting them..

Saigon3479d ago

does the international version have english text...

DarK-SilV3479d ago

I want a remake,thats all

Ahmay3479d ago

like a HD remix would be nice..

Guy1693479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

You can play it in HD on an emulator for Windows.

anyway no point actually for HD in a game with such graphics..

ThatCanadianGuy3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

I just checked out my Japanese account.Yep ! It's there.

But by "International" does that mean it has english text?

ButterToast3479d ago

I was wondering the same thing. hope it makes its way to the US PSN, but seeing the amount of classics support we've been getting I doubt it.

lloyd_wonder3479d ago (Edited 3479d ago )

Don't think so. It's just the NA version retranslated back into Japan with extras

zep3479d ago

International is Full Japanese except the New game and Load option at the start :)) got the original copy *_*

3sq3479d ago

If i remember correctly, I think the US version has Ruby Weapon (The big red monster at the sand area). The Japanese version doesn't have that. If you are a japanese and wanted to experience what people in US experienced, you have to get the International Version.

Oh and the International includes one extra disc. Some additional stuff.
