Wii: A Tale of Two Markets - US -

While Wii may be selling faster than tickets to an all boy choir being sold at a Catholic parish, the games have received very little fanfare on the review front. Outside of the occasional mini-game compilation and first-party titles, Wii has struggled greatly in North America to establish any sort of strong sales figures for third-party games that measure up to the console's install base. Hardcore and casual third-party exclusive titles for the Wii fall very flat in comparison to the PLAYSTATION3 and Xbox360 third-party exclusives, such as Resident Evil 5, F.E.A.R. 2 or Wanted: Weapons of Fate, which have fairly strong numbers for Sony and Microsoft's console
