Conduit Dev: This is the tip of the Iceberg posted a lengthy preview of The Conduit's single player campaign. At the conclusion of the article, they wrote this interesting quote:

"At the end of the demo, I asked Matt Corso if they had pushed the Wii as far as it could go. His response: "This is just the tip of the iceberg, there are new graphical technologies we've already developed that came along too late to include in The Conduit."

Im guessing The Conduit 2 will have about as big of a graphical change as Gears of War and Gears of War 2 had.

Nobody buys a Wii to see good graphics. We've probably seen "the whole Iceberg" for Wii with the worst of next-gen consoles.

They said they squeezed all they can get out of it. Maybe they overhauled a part of their engine or just found a lot better techniques? Hopefully they will use this power to implement split screen.

I say I hope they use this new stuff to later implement split screen and i get a disagree? Ok?

Hopefully the conduit sells boatloads of games so they're guaranteed a sequel or at least another original IP.

I only hope that the aiming reticle has an option to be disabled. I am increasingly tired of Wii shooters having the reticle taking up half the screen and not having an option that would allow them to be disabled. It is counterintuitive. I am perfectly capable of knowing where I am pointing because I am in fact pointing where it is I know I want to be pointing. Redundant isn't it.

looks better than this though....push it HARDER.

I hope this game turns out to be good. The Wii is supposed to be more powerful than the last-gen Xbox so its time to see some stuff that shows it.
